"Life is made up, not of great sacrifices or duties, but of little things, in which smiles and kindness, and small obligations given habitually, are what preserve the heart and secure comfort." - Humphry Davy
Often I am found with a pen and journal in my hand, writing down my thoughts, experiences, and reflections on life. Preserving memories and events now lost in time. With a husband, three boys, and a small farm, journaling is something that I thoroughly enjoy doing as often as possible. When I am not working, doing farm chores, or spending time with my family, I enjoy getting out to do some photography as well. There is so much around us to capture, share, and preserve.
As I am sure you have noticed by now, I am a bit of a pen addict. My collection has grown to well over 50 fountain pens, and quiet the decent collection of journals. I tend to purchase/collect pens in the $15-$250 price range. I look for a smooth, pleasant, easy to maintain experience with my fountain pens. I also enjoy leather goods to carry around and protect my pens and journals.
I hope you enjoy reading this blog and learning about fountain pens. The world of fountain pens is a completely different world, and an experience that I am sure you would enjoy!
